Family + Community
My name is Monica Scudder, and I am a proud Yuma, Arizona native, born and raised in the community I continue to call home. I married my high school sweetheart, and together we have raised our three beautiful children right here in Yuma. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and I cherish time spent with my husband, our children ( and our bonus children - their significant others) and our 90+ pound dog, Kingston.

For over 30 years, I had the privilege of serving local families as an educator in Yuma School District One, where I taught and supported thousands of children. In addition to my strong roots in Yuma, my family’s connection to the White Mountains runs deep. My parents purchased our family cabin in Heber, Arizona in the 1980s, and for more than 45 years we have spent summers enjoying life in the White Mountains.

Since retiring from teaching, I have been able to spend more time in the area—building meaningful relationships, becoming more involved in the community, and continuing my passion for serving others. These long-standing ties allow me to truly understand both the lifestyle and opportunities the White Mountain region offers.
